PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Instructor

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is the most popular specialty diver course in recreational scuba diving. Every PADI Instructor should arm themself with the knowledge and skill to teach this leading edge program.

During the PADI Enriched Air Specialty Instructor course, you'll gain an insight into how to teach this program. You'll be offered many tips and tricks for successfully running the program, and given a thorough overview of its applications, principles and practices.

Your Course Director, Des Paroz, has been using Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) since 1996, and teaching its use since 1997. Des has an in-depth knowledge of the applications, theory and skills of Enriched Air usage, holding an instructor-trainer rating for Enriched Air usage from PADI, as well technical/advanced nitrox instructor ratings with ANDI and TDI. Des is a passionate believer in the benefits of enriched air.

The PADI Enriched Air Specialty Instructor course takes 1 day, and can be combined with the DSAT Tec Gas Blender or DSAT Gas Blending Instructor course to allow the participant flexibility in teaching a complete program.
